M1917 US Helmet
The m1917 helmet (commonly called Brodie helmet, tin derby, tommy helmet, or doughboy helmet) was used by British and American forces during WW1. Many criticisms were raised against the helmet such as its shallow design and reflective nature, but workarounds for these flaws were found such as mixing sawdust into the paint to reduce luster and wearing the helmet at an angle.
