Irish Fusilier Cap Badge
Irish units wore this badge on their peaked caps and garrison caps to identify themselves as Irish regiments. This badge would be unlikely to see in combat as it was worm primarily on dress uniforms or officers service uniforms.
The Irish Fusiliers wore similar cap badges to other non-Irish units except for the silver Harp of Erin. | Two hooks can be seen that would have been used to affix this to a cap. |
