U.S. Camo Paint Stick

The small cylindrical tube has two caps offering access to the dual color paint stick contained within.  These were issued to troops in ww2 so they could more effectively camouflage with their surroundings.  This particular stick was likely meant to be used for naval landings, such as the D-Day invasions, as indicated by the land sand color.

The mostly worn label indicating the manufacturer; Ponds Extract Company and its colors; light green and land sand.

A photocopy of an original instruction sheet packaged in the crate these came in.
